The Kettler Vito EXT Elliptical Cross Trainer delivers an extremely smooth ride with its much heavier fly wheel when compared to the entry level models like the Verso 309 and 307. Weighing in at 20kg, you are guaranteed a smooth action, coupled with the manually adujustable magnetic braking system. The Vito EXT also features extended motion technology for a more fluid motion and makes your legs work harder with a longer, more liberating stride. This also helps to provide you with a natural feel and all the benefits of the most common cardio sports such as running or cross-country skiing.
When exercising on the Kettler Vito EXT elliptical, you will find a very informative, on-board LCD computer that displays 7 functions at a time including the standard metrics such as TIme, Distance and Speed. The elliptical features 10 resistant levels which is actually less that the Verso's but is more than sufficient for even the more regular users. With target-zone training you will be able to specify your own target whether it's to lose weight or increase stamina or set a manual target.
Like the other Kettler Ellipticals the Vito EXT has built in electronic pulse sensors that will measure your heart rate whilst you exercise. Metrics such as upper heart rate limit, recovery heart rate with fitness mark can also be viewed. Alternatively, you can also use the provided ear-piece sensor, freeing up your arms and hands. Also integrated into the elliptical is a receiver for use with a heart rate chest set which can be bought separately.
Overall, the Kettler Vito EXT is a much more solid elliptical that will give you basic features but more control over your exercise when compared to others in the Kettler range. Although slightly larger than the entry level models it provides users with smoother action and is suitable for a wider range of users being able to support weights of up to 150kg.
