Horizon Fitness a high quality elliptical brand owned by Taiwanese company Johnson Health Technology, a specialist manufacturer of fitness equipment since 1975. They have provided products for major exercise equipment brands such as Tunturi and Schwinn via OEM and are one of the world's major suppliers. In the late 90's the firm created it's own brands (Vision, Matrix and Horizon) and designs further establishing itself as a worldwide cardio equipment manufacturer with marketing subsidaries in the US, Germany, UK, France and so on.
Horizon cross trainers are mid to high end priced and provide a fun and fulfilling workout that is designed to closely match your walking and running position.
With a Horizon elliptical trainer you get Convenience, Control and Comfort. Their ellipticals all have clear and detailed LCD displays with various programmes and resistance levels. The heavy dty flywheel delivers a smooth motion and the magnetic braking systems offer a stable workout with varying resistance. There is also up to 20 degrees stride length for maximum elliptical motion and toning.
Prices range from £450 - £1000 and there are two main ranges; the Athos and Andes sub-brands. The Andes range are the ones to buy if you are looking for a top spec machine. In particular the Horizon Andes 308 and 407 are very popular models that feature folding designs for easy storage.
