The TrimMaster CT118 retails at around £679.99, gives a smooth and quiet operation and comes with twelve preset programmes, five of which are heart rate controlled so you can vary your workout as you wish. There are also provisions for four user defined programmes and body fat analysis. No power supply is needed so it does not have to be situated near an electrical outlet.
The CT118 has a sixteen inch stride length and can take user weight up to 125kg and has a computer controlled magnetic brake. The CT115 elliptical cross trainer is a slightly cheaper version at a retail price of about £559.99. Again it possesses a smooth elliptical movement and silent operation. It comes with sixteen resistance levels, twelve preset programmes, fifteen inch stride length, a computer controlled magnetic brake and a back lit LCD displaying amongst other details time, speed, pulse, distance, calories and level of resistance.
Another model which is exclusive to John Lewis is the TrimMaster E418 cross trainer. This is a front-wheeled machine at a similar price to the CT115 and features precision path technology for added natural movement and less stress on key joints.
